White Horse Stables - Horse Rescue was set up initially in Wales in 1987 and transferred to Bexhill on-Sea in 1994. Since July 2006 it has now transferred to larger premises at Ellenwhorne Equestrian Centre, Staplecross.
In 1995 it became a registered charity and set out to rescue abused and neglected horses and ponies nationwide caring for them in our Centres until they are well both in mind and body.
Once made well they are re-homed to make way for other deserving cases but kept on a register and regularly checked upon so that they will never again suffer mans inhumanity towards them.
Some, however, for what ever reason are not suitable for re-homing and they stay in our centres secure in the knowledge that then can live out their lives in peace and tranquillity.
YOU are needed to enable US to continue helping the ones already here and to allow us to carry on our work both in re-habilitating and rescuing others in need.
